Thursday’s Winner

Ice_Cold3dCongratulations to Sarah Wolf, winner of Cherry Adair’s newest release: ICE COLD!

Sarah, please click on the Contact Us tab within the next 10 days and let us know where to mail your prize.

Thank you to ALL commenters Tuesday and Wednesday. It turns out Cherry was traveling and ended up having no internet access. We look forward to hosting her again with her next release!

OKAY! On Tuesday, December 11th, please help us welcome debut-author, Stacy Green, who will discuss her Nov 30th Romantic Suspense release: INTO THE DARK.

Stacy Green is fascinated by the workings of the criminal mind and explores true crime on her popular Thriller Thursday posts at her blog, Turning the Page

After earning her degree in journalism, Stacy worked in advertising before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her miracle child. She rediscovered her love of writing and wrote several articles for Women’s Edition Magazine of Cedar Rapids, profiling local businesses, before penning her first novel.

Her debut novel, Into The Dark, is set in Las Vegas and features a heroine on the edge of disaster, a tormented villain, and the city’s infamous storm drains that house hundreds of homeless.

You read that right! Hundreds of miles of underground tunnels in Vegas…sure would be a good setting to stash a body, kidnap someone, murder…

Sounds creepy, huh? Don’t miss Stacy next Tuesday!

Cherry Adair in Person!

Who doesn’t love Cherry Adair books?  She’s an incredible writer, the prolific author of over 32 bestselling, suspenseful action adventures.  In print interviews, she’s fun — but in person?  Well, this firecracker is hysterically funny, will keep you on your toes, and is absolutely not to be  missed.

Cherry sat down with me a few months ago to tell me a little about her books, her life, and how she got both her wonderful Montana accent and a life coach named Murgatroyd.  Remember to leave a comment below to be entered to win a copy of Ice Cold!

Hope you enjoy her as much as I do!

So, today’s question is do you have a secret person, real or imaginary who gives you that boost — or should I say kick you know where — when you need one?

Thanks Cherry for stopping by!  Don’t forget everyone, to leave a comment below. One lucky commenter will win a digital copy of Cherry’s newest, hottest release in the T-FLAC series, Ice Cold! (See the trailer Here.)  So make sure you’re entered by commenting!  Cherry will be stopping by today and tomorrow to answer questions, too!

You Had Me At Hello–2012 RITA® Nominees’ Opening Lines

For me, a book’s “hello” is that opening line on page one: those first delicious words that invite me into another world. Some books open with action; others with dialogue or even setting. But whether with a whisper or a shout, there is power in those first words of hello. They make me ask, “And then what happened?”

Today at Kiss&Thrill, we are showcasing the eight romantic suspense novels nominated by published authors for the final round of the Romance Writers of America’s 2012 RITA® competition. Each of these novels had me at hello. Read the opening lines and I’m sure they’ll have you too!

Three things happened simultaneously: the soft, warm curve of a woman’s bare ass tucked enticingly against Zakary Stark’s good-morning-happy-to-feel-you erection, the familiar gut-wrenching realization that she was the wrong woman, and the cold hard metal of a gun barrel pressed to his temple.
