Working Girls… Do It For Thrills ~ 6 Author/6 Book Bundle

As a reader, my favorite kind of book is a thriller that features a strong, smart professional woman whose work opens the door to adventure, mystery, and sometimes romance, so it is with great excitement that I share with our Kiss and Thrill readers that CONCRETE EVIDENCE is part of a book bundle with just these types of books. It’s a thrill to see my title included with these great books by fabulous authors!

Available only for a limited time, you can get WORKING GIRLS which includes 6 complete novels for just $0.99!

When stakes are at their highest, these working girls draw on the tools of their trades to kick butt, take names and make a difference.

IRREPARABLE HARM – Melissa F Miller
Someone’s using a smartphone app to bring down commercial airliners and only attorney Sasha McCandless and the federal air marshal she’s teamed with can prevent more disasters. When the madman’s killing spree takes a personal turn, Sasha will need both her legal skills and her Krav Maga training to stop him.

GUARANTEED JUSTICE – M A Comley
Retired Detective Inspector Lorne Simpkins is happy running her new animal rescue centre with her husband. But when sisters Linda and Fiona Carter come to her desperate to adopt a guard dog, Lorne takes up the mantle of Private Investigator when she learns the reason. Linda was brutally raped by a serial rapist — who’s named Fiona his next victim.

BLACK DIAMOND DEATH – Cheryl Bradshaw
On the slopes of Park City, Utah’s newest ski resort a woman is found dead. Accident — or murder? Private Investigator Sloane Monroe is on the case when a second dead body is found. Now the killer is tracking Sloane’s every move, and her life depends on uncovering the truth before he strikes again.

CONCRETE EVIDENCE – Rachel Grant
Accused of stealing artifacts from a shipwreck, underwater archaeologist Erica Kesling is determined to clear her name. An undercover job with the buyer of the missing antiquities puts her close to her goal. Until a sexy, charismatic intern with secrets of his own shows up, placing her heart — and her life — in jeopardy.

BADWATER – Toni Dwiggins
A terrorist has stolen radioactive material, leading forensic geologists Cassie Oldfield and Walter Shaws on a perilous hunt through Death Valley. The unstable atom — in the hands of an unstable man — is governed by Murphy’s Law. Whatever can go wrong, will. And when it does, field skills won’t be enough to save them.

SECTOR C – Phoenix Sullivan
A pair of seemingly unrelated outbreaks — a rise in human stroke-like cases and a rapidly spreading animal disease — lead a CDC analyst and a veterinarian to a shocking discovery at a big-game compound. But even if they can escape with the secret of Sector C, it may already be too late.

In the WORKING GIRLS book bundle, the heroines are: an attorney, two private investigators, an archaeologist, a forensic geologist, and a veterinarian. Today’s question for our readers: what is your fantasy adventure career?

One commenter will win a print copy of BODY OF EVIDENCE and an ebook by one of the other WORKING GIRLS authors – winners choice!

  1. I cannot wait to read these books, Rachel! I loved Concrete Evidence so I know I’ll love the others. My fantasy career for a heroine is one I wrote about in one of my GH manuscripts. She’s an archivist for the Smithsonian who translates one of George Washington’s unsolved ciphers which sets off all all sorts of problems.
I wish you all great success with this box set!

  2. These books sound great!!!! I love a good mystery book. My fantasy career for a heroine would be a social worker who has a physical disability.

  3. You had me at “Krav Maga”… as a Kravist myself, I look forward to seeing those skills used to stop a dastardly villain. Should I, you know, ever have to stop someone from remote-hijacking a plane :) I thoroughly enjoyed CONCRETE EVIDENCE, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy the others as well!

Fantasy adventure career? Skydiving instructor in New Zealand– that’s got to be a mad adrenaline rush! But since I’m not sure I could willingly throw myself out of a plane repeatedly, I’d have to settle for something scuba diving-related.

    • Thanks, Cris! So glad you enjoyed CE! And LOL – I like the way you think–skydiving instructor AND New Zealand… I recently told a friend we should write a book set in NZ together, because I’m sure we’d need to scout out locations.

When I was younger I wanted to try skydiving, but now… no way. Like you, I’ll stick with water – scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, or whitewater rafting.

    • And you can report back to us and tell us if the action is authentic!

Have you ever jumped out of a plane? I tandem-sky dived once about 18 years ago.
      On a dare.
      Stupid me. ;)
But I lived to tell about it.

      • I definitely haven’t. Though one of my friends has recently become a licensed fixed-wing aircraft pilot and is moving up the aircraft size ranks, and we joke about her piloting me whilst I skydive before we hit 30. But unless I’m attached to someone who WILL jump out of that plane and take me with him/her (and I cannot escape, haha), I have a feeling I’m staying on that plane. Probably even after it lands back at the airfield :).

I volunteer as your research assistant for that NZ-set book. Adrenaline capital of the world? Sign me up! And the water is WARM during summer, which would be a pleasant change from diving the North Atlantic. It’s cold up here… and before I moved here, I was diving the tropical waters of Southeast Asia & the South Pacific!

  4. Reblogged this on DIANA BELCHASE and commented:

My blogmate from Kiss and Thrill is part of a book set. What a fabulous deal — six books for just 99 cents!

  5. For me, my fantasy career is either attorney or astronaut.

  6. Rachel, the box set looks fantastic! I love the working girls premise :-) My fantasy career is to be the curator of the Smithsonian Gem and Mineral collection! The Hope Diamond, the Carmen Lucia Ruby, Marie Antoinette’s earrings, the Star of Bombay…..

  7. My fantasy career is wildlife photographer. Trekking all over the world capturing animals in their natural surroundings then having the photos published in magazines to share with those who would otherwise never see them outside of a zoo. The ultimate would be working for National Geographic mag/tv.

But, alas, I am an armchair adventurer and this boxed set looks like an exciting way to go. Thank you for the giveaway.
    Julie O

  8. I like the way Julie thinks. I love animals and travel. My fantasy adventure career is to be a globe-trotting spy. But I’d settle for world traveler. ;-) The box set sounds great, Rachel. Just bought my copy and can’t wait to dig in!

  9. Rachel these books sound awesome and I can’t wait to read about all these kick butt heroines. I loved Concrete Evidence and I’m certain the others will rock. I have to second the vote to read Sharon’s book. George Washington’s Cipher? I’m in!
My fantasy career would be a crime-solving ranger like Nevada Barr’s Anna Pigeon.

    • Thanks, Carey! You are in for a treat with the Working Girls! ;)

Love your park ranger suggestion too. Jill Sorenson had a crime-solving park ranger in FREEFALL – really loved that book.

  10. Wow, 99 cents for all that? What a steal! (Hello…Christmas gifts anyone?!) If the rest of those authors write anything as gripping as CE I’m in.

Fantasy Career: Formula One race car driver or champion surfer.

  11. I’ve placed my order! Now all I have to do is find time to read. :)

  12. Rachel, congrats on this great boxed set! Already have it on my Kindle loaded to go.

  13. Great giveaway. Love Rachel’s books.

  14. Such a deal, Rachel! Concrete Evidence? Hmmm. Seems like I wrote about the cool things I learned in that awesome book for an upcoming blog. This boxed set looks great. Can’t wait to read it. Amazon sells pretty much everything, but I’m still waiting for them to sell “time to read.” Write On, Rachel!

  15. Thanks everyone for visiting today! There is still time to comment to enter the drawing. I’d love to hear more ideas for fantasy adventure careers. I *might* be getting story ideas.

Be sure to check back on Thursday to see if you are our winner.
